Naidu outlines 5 key strategies for India's path to global leadership by 2047

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu unveiled five strategies that he believes can propel India to become a global leader by 2047. Speaking at a gathering in Visakhapatnam to commemorate the 77th Independence Day, Naidu highlighted the crucial role that Telugus can play in India's transformation into a superpower.
Naidu presented a Vision-2047 document, envisioning India's ascent to the third-largest economy and the second position in various sectors globally by 2047. He emphasized that the right strategies are essential for achieving this ambitious goal.

Strategies for transformation

The TDP chief outlined five key strategies that he believes India should adopt to secure its position as a global leader.

1. Energy Revolution: Naidu stressed the significance of energy as a game-changer. He mentioned that the state has already embraced solar, wind, and pumped energy generation systems. Additionally, plans to establish hydrogen and ammonia hubs, alongside research centers, are aimed at reducing power charges by up to 30%.

2. Water Security: Addressing the growing demand for water due to population growth, Naidu proposed interlinking rivers as a solution to ensure water security across India.

4. Demographic Management: Recognizing India's larger working population, Naidu emphasized the importance of managing the demographic dividend. He suggested educating the significant youth population, aged 20-25, in diverse skills to contribute to the nation and the global community.

5. Indian Diaspora Contribution: Naidu called for an increased contribution from the Indian diaspora to the nation's development. He highlighted the advantage of Telugu people's mobility and urged India to target an increase in the diaspora from 1.8 crore to 10 crore, which would lead to significant global investments benefiting the nation.

Aiming for global influence

Naidu's visionary strategies offer a roadmap for India's global leadership aspirations. As the country moves forward, focusing on these strategies could potentially reshape its trajectory and impact its role on the world stage.
